בִּטּוּי הַמְּתָאֵר אֶת כּוֹחָם שֶׁל הַזְּמַן וְהַהַתְמָדָה לְשַׁנּוֹת אוֹ לְהַכְנִיעַ גַּם דְּבָרִים חֲזָקִים (כְּמוֹ מַיִם הַזּוֹרְמִים זְמַן רַב עַל אֶבֶן וּמַשְׁאִירִים עָלֶיהָ סִימָנֵי שְׁחִיקָה).
