For all the money in the world
The phrase means 'for all the sum of money that exists in the world.' It is a metaphor expressing refusal even in exchange for a great and abundant sum of money. Its earliest source is biblical, as in Psalm 119:72: 'The law of Your testimonies is my delight more than all riches.'

תּוֹרַת כָּל סְכוּם כֶּסֶף שֶׁיֶּשְׁנוֹ בָּעוֹלָם. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: אֲפִלּוּ בִּתְמוּרָה לְקַבָּלַת סְכוּם כֶּסֶף עָצוּם וְרַב. מְקוֹרוֹ הָרִאשׁוֹנִי שֶׁל הַבִּטּוּי בַּתָּנָ"ךְ כְּמוֹ בַּפָּסוּק בִּתְהִלִּים קַיִט יָד: "בְּדֶרֶךְ עֵדְוֹתֶיךָ שַׂשְׂתִּי כְּעַל כָּל הוֹן".
