Bar Mazal/ Lucky

Son of fortune. A person possessing luck in his life. One who merited something good by chance.

(Rav Ashi said: And what is the difficulty? Perhaps this matter itself is 'bar mazaleh' (What is the question? Perhaps in this matter he is a son of fortune) - Bava Batra 12b, and also: They are the root of idolatry and its branches. And this, that the first falsehood is the decree of the stars...
