An animal of a type permitted for consumption after proper ritual slaughter according to Jewish law.
("Of every clean animal you shall take to you seven and seven, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean, two, a male and his female" - Genesis 7:2, and also: "One who skins from a domestic or wild animal, of the clean or the unclean, small or large, for a mat to the extent of a handhold" - Chullin 9:3)

בְּהֵמָה מִסּוּג הַמֻּתָּר לַאֲכִילָה אַחֲרֵי שְׁחִיטָה כְּשֵׁרָה עַל פִּי הַהֲלָכָה הַיְּהוּדִית.
