In a severe or moral low state. At the very lowest level (מַדְרֵגָה means rung or level, especially a rank or height).

בְּמַצָּב חָמְרִי אוֹ מוּסָרִי יָרוּד. בַּדַּרְגָּה הֲכִי שְׁפָלָה (מַדְרֵגָה מַשְׁמָע דַּרְגָּה אוֹ רָמָה).
