(“By permission of the Supreme Holy King, and by permission of our masters and teachers, let us bless our God from Whose food we have eaten.” — Invitation (zimun) before Grace After Meals. “If reciting the zimun, the leader says: ‘Give us leave and we will bless,’ or in Yiddish: ‘Rabbotai, mir veln bentchen’ (Gentlemen, we will bench).
