A thing that cannot be seen. A hidden matter (meaning concealed, secret, or veiled).

דָּבָר שֶׁלֹּא נִתָּן לִרְאוֹת אוֹתוֹ. דָּבָר מֻסְתָּר (סָמוּי מַשְׁמָע נֶעְלָם אוֹ נִסְתָּר).
