Law of Deliverance

Law of Deliverance

The law that establishes that one must punish a person who informs against a Jew before the nations, and thereby in essence delivers him into their hands.

("And if the Jew went and detained his money, etc., by gentiles. And from this comes great damage from the uncircumcised as I have written. Surely he is liable to be bound to the pillar until he rectifies his wrong. For even one who walks in the ways of the gentiles in order to subject Israel to judgment, the law of deliverance applies to him." - Yam Shel Shlomo, Tractate Bava Kamma, Chapter 1)
