Words of praise and compliments.
(“They do not recite elegies or lamentations for them, nor do they say the mourners’ blessing or words of consolation for mourners; rather, they say ‘words.’ What are these ‘words’? The Rabbis say: praises—meaning, they praise the deceased and recount his virtues according to what he was. And some interpret ‘praises’ as referring to the Holy One, blessed be He, who causes death and grants life” (Torat HaAdam, Gate of Mourning, the matter of report and gathering of bones).)

דִּבְרֵי שֶׁבַח. מַחְמָאוֹת.
("אֵין אוֹמְרִים עֲלֵיהֶן קִינִים וָנֶהִי וְאֵין אוֹמְרִים עֲלֵיהֶם לֹא בִּרְכַּת אֲבֵלִים וְלֹא תַּנְחוּמֵי אֲבֵלִים אֲבָל אוֹמְרִים עֲלֵיהֶם דְּבָרִים, מָה הֵן דְּבָרִים, רַבָּנָן אָמְרִין קִלּוּסִין, פֵּרוּשׁ מְקַלְּסִין הַמֵּת וּמַסְפְּרִין בִּשְׁבָחָיו לְפִי מָה שֶׁהוּא, וְיֵשׁ מְפָרְשִׁים קִלּוּסִים להקב"ה שֶׁהוּא מֵמִית וּמְחַיֶּה"- תּוֹרַת הָאָדָם שַׁעַר הָאֵבֶל, עִנְיַן שְׁמוּעָה וּלְקוּט עֲצָמוֹת)
