Words of Torah are poor in their place and rich in another place
Sometimes the Torah deals with the same subject in two different places, yet only in one of them does it elaborate the details of the matter, while in the other it abbreviates. By analogy: one can never know when and where the importance of acquired knowledge will be revealed.

לִפְעָמִים הַתּוֹרָה עוֹסֶקֶת בְּאוֹתוֹ נוֹשֵׂא בִּשְׁנֵי מְקוֹמוֹת שׁוֹנִים אַךְ רַק בְּאֶחָד מֵהֶם הִיא מְפָרֶטֶת אֶת פְּרָטֵי הָעִנְיָן וּבַשֵּׁנִי מְצַמְצֶמֶת. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: לְעוֹלָם אֵין לָדַעַת מָתַי וְהֵיכָן תִּתְגַּלֶּה חֲשִׁיבוּתוֹ שֶׁל יֶדַע שֶׁנִּרְכַּשׁ.
