Love peace and hate discord
A person should avoid participating in quarrels and prefer to resolve issues through peaceful means.
("And if your friends have wronged you, whether in sitting or in standing, make peace with them so that peace will come and rest upon your couch. And so said R’ Eleazar HaKappar: Love peace, and hate discord. Great is peace, for even when Israel worships idolatry and there is peace among them, the Holy One, Blessed be He, says, ‘It is not my will to touch them.’" – Minor Tractates, Derech Eretz 7:37)

עַל הָאָדָם לְהִמָּנַע מֵהִשְׁתַּתְּפוּת בִּמְרִיבוֹת וּלְהַעֲדִיף לִפְתֹּר בְּעָיוֹת בְּדַרְכֵי שָׁלוֹם.
