No man loves those of his own profession
A person does not favor another who works in the same profession due to competition between them. There is not always peace and harmony among people of the same trade.
(In the name of Rabbi Eliezer bar Yossi they said: 'No man loves his fellow in the same profession, but the wise man loves his fellow in the same profession, such as Rabbi Chiyya towards Rabbi Hoshaya and Rabbi Hoshaya towards Rabbi Chiyya, and the Holy One, blessed be He, loves those of His own profession, as it is said: "For the LORD is righteous; He loves righteous deeds"' – Genesis Rabbah (Vilna) Parashat Noach, Section 32)

הָאָדָם אֵינוֹ מחבב אֶת הָאָדָם שעוסק בְּאוֹתוֹ מִקְצוֹעַ שֶׁהוּא עוֹסֵק בִּגְלַל התחרות בֵּינֵיהֶם. לֹא תָּמִיד שוררת שַׁלְוָה וְהַרְמוֹנְיָה בַּקְּרָב בְּנֵי אוֹתוֹ הַמִּקְצוֹעַ.
(בְּשֵׁם רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר בַּר יוֹסִי אָמְרוּ:אֵין לְךָ אָדָם אוֹהֵב בֶּן אומנתו, אֲבָל הֶחָכָם אוֹהֵב בֶּן אומנתו, כְּגוֹן רַבִּי חִיָּא דְּרַבִּי הושעיא ור' הושעיא דְּרַבִּי חִיָּא והקב"ה אוֹהֵב אֶת בֶּן אומנתו, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר: כִּי צַדִּיק ה' צדקות אָהַב"- בְּרֵאשִׁית רַבָּה (וִילְנָא) פָּרָשַׁת נֹחַ פָּרָשָׁה לֵב)
