No man has power over the day of death
Even the strong will one day lose their power. A proverb meaning all are equal before death and the same fate awaits everyone.
("No man has power over the spirit to retain the spirit, nor has he power over the day of death; and there is no discharge in that war, nor will wickedness deliver those who are given to it" – Ecclesiastes 8:8)
