The Exile of Spain
The expulsion from Spain. Or: the dispersion of Jews in the world whose origin is in the Judaism of Spain that was exiled in the year 1492.
(“For because of our iniquities, the exile of Jerusalem—which is recorded in the Book of Chronicles—they were all expelled, and not a single man remained in any of the kingdoms, except for those who were left, who remained from the captivity, from the plunder, from the pestilence, and from the famine—miraculous survivors and refugees from the sword of Edom to the kingdom of Persia and to the kingdom of Ishmael. And behold, there is the entire multitude of Israel from all the exile of Spain in the kingdom of Fes.”)
