All is foreseen, but freedom of choise is given
Everything that happens in the world is predestined by God, and yet there is nothing in it that can prevent man from having the possibility of choosing between good and evil. The choice is always given to man to choose, so that he may not know what he will choose.
("Everything is expected and the right is given, and the best of the world is judged and everything is according to the multitude of deeds" - Avot 3:11, and so: "Everything is expected...and do not think that in its being the knower of deeds will rise, the forced will be obliged...but every man chooses what he will do, and that is what they said: And the right is given" - Harambam/ Exegesis of the Avot, Ch. כָּל מָה שֶׁיִּתְרַחֵשׁ בָּעוֹלָם נִצְפָּה מֵרֹאשׁ ע"י הָאֵל, וְאוּלָם אֵין בְּכָךְ כְּדֵי לִמְנֹעַ מֵהָאָדָם אֶת הָאֶפְשָׁרוּיוֹת לִבְחֹר בֵּין טוֹב לְרַע. הַבְּחִירָה חָפְשִׁית נְתוּנָה תָּמִיד בִּידֵי הָאָדָם לַמְרוֹת שֶׁאַל יוֹדֵעַ מָה הָאָדָם יִבְחַר.
