Ancient tradition (attributed to Moses)/ magister dixit (L)

Laws given to Moses on Mount Sinai. These are practices that have no reference in the text and were not even taught in one of the ways in which the Torah is required, but according to tradition they have been handed down from generation to generation from Moses to this day. In question: A matter that cannot be appealed against. A law that will not pass away.

("Rabbi Eliezer wept and said (Thus saith the Lord) The secret of the Lord to those who fear Him and His covenant to those who know Him - Go out and say to them: Do not be afraid of your lot. I accept from Rabbi Yochanan ben Zacchaeus, who heard from his master and his master from his master until the time of Moses from Sinai, that Ammon and Moab should give a tenth of the tithe to the poor in seven days" - Yadaim 4:3, and so: "Moses went From Sinai, let them be the writers of the Torah scroll on parchment...and let them be the writers of the prayers on parchment" - Harambam/ Sefer Ahab, Hilchot Tefillin ve Mezuzah ve Sefer Torah, Perek Rashon, 8, 213, and so on: "And he turned to him the sack of his tallit and his prayers...and they were torn and the paint was torn and the mountains of black sores were on Moses' journey from Sinai" - Agnon/ City and its fullness, 639)
