In response: Is it your intention to inherit the property of the man you killed?!, the phrase begins as a rhetorical question, like that of a man who commits a sin (as in, murder) and then seeks to derive benefit from it (as in, receiving the inheritance of the murdered person). The phrase is similar to the judicial generalization: "A wicked woman will not flourish without a husband."
