The wicked are ruled by their emotions, but the righteous have dominion over them. The impulses rule over the wicked, while the righteous prevail over them.

הָרְשָׁעִים נִשְׁלָטִים ע"י רִגְשׁוֹתֵיהֶם אַךְ הַצַּדִּיקִים שׁוֹלְטִים עֲלֵיהֶם. הַדְּחָפִים שׁוֹלְטִים עַל הָרְשָׁעִים הַצַּדִּיקִים מִתְגַּבְּרִים עֲלֵיהֶם.
