The simpleton within whom you have prevailed
You have defeated the simple man we have defeated. In question: You have not measured yourself against a man of experience who would know how to respond to the accusations.
("Gabiha ben Psisa said to the wise men: Give me permission and I will go and plead with them before Alexander the Great. If they defeat me - say, "The fool, our son, has defeated you." And if I defeat them - say, "The Law of Moses has defeated you." We gave him permission." - Sanhedrin 3:1)
