Standing on his feet
By metaphor: to rehabilitate him. To strengthen him. To give him the ability to stand by his own strength, or to return to what he was before.

בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: שִׁקֵּם אוֹתוֹ. חִזֵּק אוֹתוֹ. נָתַן לוֹ אֶפְשָׁרוּת לַעֲמֹד בְּכוֹחוֹת עַצְמוֹ, אוֹ לַחֲזֹר לִהְיוֹת מָה שֶׁהָיָה קֹדֶם.
