By analogy: He dealt too early with a matter that should have been addressed later. He spoke about the later matter beforehand.

בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: טִפֵּל מֻקְדָּם מִדַּי בְּדָבָר שֶׁהָיָה צָרִיךְ לַעֲסֹק בּוֹ יוֹתֵר מְאֻחָר. דִּבֵּר קֹדֶם עַל הַדָּבָר הַמְּאֻחָר.
