To make a person blush/ put to shame/ (insult/ putting to shame)

To shame or insult one's friend with the insolence of men (literally: to turn one's friend's face pale because of the intensity of the insult that caused the blood to drain from the face).

("He who deceives his fellowman in many ways and breaks the covenant of Abraham, peace be upon him, and he who reveals to us the Torah that is not a law, even though he has the Torah in his hand and good deeds, he has no portion in the world to come" - Avot 3:1, and so: "Do not look at the one who is like a flame that will burn (Proverbs 23) - Do not look at the one who is like a flame that will burn the faces of the wicked in this world.
