To go to a distant place. By metaphor: to exaggerate, to take extreme actions or opinions.

הָלַךְ לְמָקוֹם רָחוֹק. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: הַגַּזִּים. הַקָּצִין בְּמַעֲשָׂיו אוֹ בְּדֵעוֹתָיו.
