Satisfied his thirst. Satisfied his thirst (satisfied means to quench one's thirst or to drink until one feels satisfied. The original origin of the expression is in the verse of Proverbs 29:18: "Peace will be mine, for with the upliftedness of my heart I will go because of the lips that satisfy the thirst").

הִשְׁבִּיעַ אֶת תְּחוּשַׁת הַצִּמָּאוֹן שֶׁלּוֹ. שָׁבַר אֶת צִמְאוֹנוֹ (רַוֵּה מַשְׁמָע שְׁבִירַת צִמָּאוֹן אוֹ שְׁתִיָּה עַד כְּדֵי הַרְגָּשַׁת סִפּוּק. יִתָּכֵן שֶׁמְּקוֹרוֹ הָרִאשׁוֹנִי שֶׁל הַבִּטּוּי בְּפָסוּק דְּבָרִים כט יח:"שָׁלוֹם יִהְיֶה לִּי כִּי בִּשְׁרִרוּת לִבִּי אֵלֵךְ לְמַעַן סְפוֹת הָרָוָה אֶת הַצְּמֵאָה").
