A letter that inquires about a person’s well-being or provides information about their condition.

מִכְתָּב הַשּׁוֹאֵל בִּשְׁלוֹמוֹ שֶׁל אָדָם אוֹ מוֹסֵר מֵידָע עַל שְׁלוֹמוֹ שֶׁל אָדָם.
