The Tabernacle — the sacred dwelling used for worship and as the spiritual center during the Israelites’ wanderings in the Sinai desert.

הַמִּשְׁכָּן. הַמָּקוֹם הַמְּקֻדָּשׁ שֶׁשִּׁמֵּשׁ לְפֻלְחָן וּמֶרְכָּז רוּחָנִי בִּנְדוּדֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּמִדְבַּר סִינָי.
