One does worse wrong by words (i.e wounding someone's feelings) than by lucre
Deceptive words that lead people astray or cause greater sorrow are more serious than deceit regarding money matters.
(Rabbi Yochanan said in the name of Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai: Greater is the wrong of words than the wrong of money, since this is stated in it (Vayikra, Leviticus) "And you shall fear your God" and that is not stated in it and you shall fear your God - Bava Metzia 59b.)
