A great, full, and abundant treasure. Figuratively: a person of vast knowledge or erudition (the word “balum” means closed, full, or overflowing).

אוֹצָר גָּדוֹל, מָלֵא וְגָדוּשׁ. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: אָדָם בַּעַל יְדִיעוֹת רְחָבוֹת (בָּלוּם מַשְׁמָע סָגוּר אוֹ מָלֵא וְגָדוּשׁ).
