This thing 'asks' to be demanded. In a question: The thing raises a need to be chosen. This bearer has a meaning that one should pay attention to.
("And we shall see what his dreams will be," said Rabbi Yitzhak: This is what is meant by saying: "Instruct me." The Holy Spirit says, "Thus, they (Joseph's brothers) said, 'We will kill him,' and the scripture concludes: 'And we shall see what his dreams will be,' and it will be seen what word will come out of them." -Rashi in the beginning of this verse, and thus: "Did they not cross the Jordan by the way of the entrance?" דָּבָר זֶה 'מְבַקֵּשׁ' לְהִדָּרֵשׁ. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: הַדָּבָר מְעוֹרֵר צֹרֶךְ לְבָרְרוֹ. יֵשׁ לְנוֹשֵׂא זֶה מַשְׁמָעוּת שֶׁיֵּשׁ לָשִׂים אֵלֶיהָ לֵב.
