בַּעַל אַגָּדָה
אָדָם הַמִּתְמַחֶה בְּמִדְרָשִׁים וְסִפּוּרִים תַּלְמוּדִיִּים הַקְּרוּאִים 'אַגָּדָה'.
("מַאי נִנְהוּ דִּכְתִיב(יְשַׁעְיָהוּ ג) כִּי הִנֵּה הָאָדוֹן ה' צְבָאוֹת מֵסִיר מִירוּשָׁלִַם וּמִיהוּדָה מַשְׁעֵן וּמַשְׁעֵנָה ?...מִשְׁעָן - אֵלּוּ בַּעֲלֵי מִקְרָא, מִשְׁעָנָהּ - אֵלּוּ בַּעֲלֵי מִשְׁנֶה...וְכָל מִשְׁעָן מַיִם- אֵלּוּ בַּעֲלֵי אַגָּדָה, שֶׁמּוֹשְׁכִין לִבּוֹ שֶׁל אָדָם כַּמַּיִם בְּאַגָּדָה"- חֲגִיגָה יָד ע"א).
