Cried intensely from the depths of his heart.

(“My bowels, my bowels! I writhe in pain; the walls of my heart are in turmoil; my heart moans within me, I cannot be silent, for you have heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war” – Jeremiah 4:19; and likewise: “A person must turn his face toward the wall to pray—what is the reason?” “And Hezekiah turned his face to the wall.” Toward which wall did he raise his eyes? … And the Rabbis say: toward the walls of his heart he raised his eyes – Jerusalem Talmud, Berakhot 4:4.)
