הגדרה (אנגלית)

To die from hunger. To perish and die because of hunger.

("And therefore he showed him in his dream the beginning cows, to show that for the sake of the animals the Lord informs Pharaoh that they shall not perish by hunger, and for the sake of the animals the Lord will save" - Meshech Hochmah on Genesis 41, and also: "Because of our many sins, he went to it to taste it, starving seven times from Sabbath eve to Sabbath eve" - Ch.
