The holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and sometimes the days between them known as the Ten Days of Repentance. According to tradition, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are considered the days on which all beings of the world stand in judgment, regarded as the Day of Judgment; therefore they are called the Days of Awe.
