Four Holy Lands, Four Holy Cities
A literary epithet for the cities Jerusalem, Tiberias, Safed, and Hebron, where there was a longstanding Jewish presence and which became centers of Jewish life.

כִּנּוּי מְלִיצִי לֶעָרִים יְרוּשָׁלַיִם, טְבֶרְיָה, צְפַת וְחֶבְרוֹן שֶׁבָּהֶם הָיְתָה נוֹכְחוּת יְהוּדִית אֲרֻכַּת שָׁנִים וְהָיוּ לְמֶרְכַּז חַיִּים יְהוּדִיִּים.
