Greeting of Peace

A blessing that a person blesses when he meets another person and at the time of parting from him.

("To ask him for peace and to bless him, said the king of Hamath, all are terms of greeting of peace which in foreign language are called shluzier (to ask for peace), also this is my blessing m.v.n sh.l.v.d (I asked about my welfare)" - Rashi Genesis 33:11)

בְּרָכָה שֶׁמְּבָרֵךְ אָדָם בְּפוֹגְשׁוֹ אָדָם אַחֵר וּבְעֵת בְּרִדָּה מִמֶּנּוּ.
