A literary metaphor for the fog that envelops and covers everything (a cat means an envelope).

דִּימּוּי סִפְרוּתִי לָעֲרָפֶל הָעוֹטֵף וּמְכַסֶּה אֶת הַכֹּל (חֲתוּלָה מַשְׁמָע מַעֲטֶפֶת).
