The sick who stands from his sickness returns to the days of his youth

A sick person who recovers returns to the joy of the life of his youth because of great joy over the healing. Or: One who recovers from a severe illness returns to being free of sins because the suffering of the illness has purged his iniquities.

("No sick person recovers from his illness until he is forgiven for all his sins, as it is said (Tehillim 100): "He who forgives all my sins, who heals all my diseases." Rav Himnuna said: "He will return to the days of his youth" - Nadarim Ma'a)
