Humble. A person who is humble in his own eyes and who does not boast (שֵׁפֶל means low or subdued).

צָנוּעַ. אָדָם שֶׁהוּא עָנוּ בְּעֵינֵי עַצְמוֹ וְשֶׁאֵינוֹ מִתְגָּאֶה (שֵׁפֶל מַשְׁמָע נָמוּךְ אוֹ שָׁקוּעַ).
