Laws of Labor
The laws concerning those engaged in labor for hire—like the cases of hired workers—cover the worker’s entitlements, payment of wages, and responsibilities such as carrying water jars. In their source, these are the laws regarding service in the Temple in the House of the Sanctuary.
(“And the rest of the lessons were to teach Aaron and his sons the laws of the service. As the Sages said: ‘A High Priest who does not know the fundamentals of the service, his service is not considered true service.’”)
