Daily matters. Matters of routine. Ordinary words. The opposite of matters of holiness.

עִנְיַן יוֹם יוֹם. עִנְיְנֵי שִׁגְרָה. דְּבָרִים סְתָמִיִּים. הַהֶפֶךְ מֵעִנְיְנֵי קְדֻשָּׁה.
