He Who Says 'I Will Sin and Repent' and 'I Will Sin and Repent' Cannot Perform True Repentance/ to one that say "I will sin and repent", the Day of Atonement will bring none
The Day of Atonement does not atone for sins committed intentionally during the period of confinement, so that the Day of Atonement will atone for them.
(He who says 'I will sin and repent, I will sin and repent' cannot be said to perform true repentance. 'I will sin and the Day of Atonement will atone' — the Day of Atonement does not atone. For sins between man and the Divine, the Day of Atonement atones; for sins between man and his fellow, the Day of Atonement does not atone until he appeases his friend." - Yoma 8b-9a, and similarly: 'I will sin and repent — one cannot rely to perform repentance; I will sin and the Day of Atonement will atone — the Day of Atonement does not atone.' - Yoma 81b)
