A person is judged only according to their actions at that moment
A principle stating that one should judge a person according to their actions at that moment, and not based on actions they might do in the future. The opposite of the saying 'judged by their ultimate fate.'
("A person is judged only according to their actions at that moment, as it is said (Genesis 21): For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is—Rosh Hashanah 16b")
