The Wheel of the Moon
A poetic epithet for the moon.
(“And the order of the days of Creation is not remembered except for the movement of the moon and downward; and the light and the luminaries are only noted with regard to illuminating the earth.” — Radak, Genesis 1:1, And likewise: “Rabbi David Kimhi… in all that is under the movement of the moon, his wisdom was great, and he compiled books about them, which are not found with us.” — Agnon, Ad Hena, And Much of Solomon’s Wisdom, p. 233)
