Back to back
Each one turns his back to the other or leans on the back of the other. By analogy: a matter conducted in such a manner that it prevents any possibility of risk in its execution or gives one side an advantage over the other.
(Indeed, what the Sages expounded (Eruvin 18a) regarding male and female, that two faces were created and were attached back to back. כָּל אֶחָד מַפְנֶה אֶת גַּבּוֹ לַשֵּׁנִי אוֹ נִשְׁעָן עַל גַּבּוֹ שֶׁל זוּלָתוֹ. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: עִסְקָה הַנַּעֲשֵׂית בְּאֹפֶן שֶׁיֵּשׁ בּוֹ לִמְנֹעַ כָּל אֶפְשָׁרוּת שֶׁל סִכּוּן בְּבִצּוּעָהּ אוֹ לָתֵת לְאֶחָד הַצְּדָדִים יִתְרוֹן עַל הַשֵּׁנִי.
