Body and Soul
The two parts composing man, who is composed of a physical body and a spiritual soul.
("Who says that the pure (one) has his soul in the heavens and his body his own, and since his body and soul are in the heavens" - Jerusalem Talmud Nedarim 4:3; and similarly: "Even the inhabitants of houses of clay - ... and the proper in my eyes is that his servants and his angels are the exalted ones who have no form which is body, and souls of men are carved from them, and even the inhabitants of houses of clay are the bodies whose foundation is in the dust" - Ibn Ezra on Job 4:19)

שְׁנֵי הַחֲלָקִים הַמַּרְכִּיבִים אֶת הָאָדָם הַמֻּרְכָּב מִגּוּף פִיזִי וּנְשָׁמָה רוּחָנִית.
("מָאן דְּמַר הַטְּהוֹרָה נַפְשָׁהּ לַשָּׁמַיִם וְגוּפָהּ שֶׁלּוֹ וְזוֹ הוֹאִיל וְגוּפָהּ וְנַפְשָׁהּ לַשָּׁמַיִם"- יְרוּשַׁלְמִי נְדָרִים ד, ג, וְכֵן:"אַף שֹׁכְנֵי בָתֵּי חֹמֶר - ... וְהַנָּכוֹן בְּעֵינַי, שֶׁעֲבָדָיו וּמַלְאָכָיו הֵם הָעֶלְיוֹנִים שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם גֶּשֶׁם שֶׁהוּא גּוּף וּנְפָשׁוֹת בְּנֵי אָדָם נֶחְצָבוֹת מֵהֶם, וְאַף שׁוֹכְנֵי בָּתֵּי חֹמֶר הֵם הַגּוּפוֹת שֶׁיְּסוֹדָם בֶּעָפָר"- אִבְּן עֶזְרָא אִיּוֹב ד יט)
