שָׂרַף אֶת הַתַּבְשִׁיל שֶׁבִּשֵּׁל. בְּהַשְׁאָלָה: קִלְקֵל לְעַצְמוֹ. עָשָׂה מַעֲשֶׂה מֵבִישׁ. שְׁמוֹ נִפְגַּע בְּעֵינֵי הַצִּבּוּר (הִקְדִּיחַ מַשְׁמָע חָרָךְ בָּאֵשׁ, 'שָׂרַף').
