The libel is a false accusation against a person or group of people. A story of his or her denigration.

הֶעֱלִיל עֲלִילוֹת שֶׁקֶר עַל אָדָם אוֹ קְבוּצַת אֲנָשִׁים. סִפֵּר בִּגְנוּתוֹ.
