To bring forth a true judgment

To bring forth a true judgment

A true legal ruling. To decide a halachic or judicial determination that is correct or just.

("And they wept for Aaron thirty days a day, all the house of Israel. For Moses they wept not, but men, because of whom the law was brought forth in truth. And Moses was a man of understanding in words, and Aaron never said from his days to a man, Thou hast defiled, or to a woman, Thou hast defiled, and yet he was a persecutor of peace" - Yalkut Shimoni Torah Parashah Hukkat Ramez Tashsed, and so: "For they "They sought to deceive the wise, but their hand did not rise because of the greatness of their fierceness and their insistence on bringing justice to its truth" - Abarbanel, Devarim, Chapter 19)
