Better a dry crust with peace than a house full of strife/ better a dry morsel and quietness therewith, than a house full of feasting with strife
Preferable are a poor life that includes tranquility to a wealthy life full of quarrels or inner tension. A proverb emphasizing the importance of domestic peace, which is preferable to a house full of every good thing but with conflict.
