Two are better than one/ two heads are better than one/ four eyes see more than two

Better to be together with another person than to be alone. Also: an activity is preferable when done in cooperation with someone else rather than by a person acting alone.

("Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor" — Ecclesiastes 4:9; and likewise: "Two are better than one" — Rabbi Meir, when he would see a person leaving alone for the road, would call out to him: "Go in peace, man of death" (because when a person sets out alone, he endangers his life). When there were two, he would call out to them: "Peace to you, quarrelers" (since they are liable to quarrel on the road). When there were three, he would call to them: "Peace to you, people of peace" (for if two of them quarrel on the road, there is someone who can make peace between them) — Ecclesiastes Rabbah 4; and likewise: "I am going there anyway and I’ll take you with me. Two are better than one, fool!" — Mendele Mocher Sforim, Mas'ot Banimim HaShlishi, Koach; and likewise: "My uncle wanted to swim / in order to float steadily / learned swimming by correspondence / from a well-known lifeguard / when at last he entered the sea / within seconds he disappeared / two rushed to him at once / two drowning men are better than one" — Dani Senderson / Yoo Yah)
